Maricruz’ Surrogacy Story

This Couple had a plan in mind. I tried to warn them that even the best laid plans rarely work out. But this time, I am happy to admit I was wrong! They were planning to come to the USA for a while and during that time they planned to meet their Surrogate Mom, create a pregnancy and have a baby all before going back to their home country. And it happened just that way!

Maricruz gave them the best Christmas gift ever, literally, because on December 25, 2014 their baby girl was born. The most memorable Christmas Day for them!

Michele’s Surrogacy Story

Michele was hoping to deliver before Christmas as she had so much to do…err Santa had so much to do, LOL! Fortunately, the baby boy she was carrying for her Couple was very accommodating. Early on December 20, 2014, the best Christmas present ever arrived into the awaiting arms of his Mommy & Daddy. Way to go, Michele!!

Christine’s Surrogacy Story

Christine kept saying she was hoping to carry twins.  We told her to be careful what she wished for!  And sure enough, twins were in her future to carry and for her Couple to love!!  Christine carried the pregnancy beautifully and delivered a beautiful girl and a gorgeous boy on December 18, 2014.  You did it Christine!!

Jessica’s Surrogacy Story

Jessica was the answer to her Couple’s prayers.  After many years of wishing for a baby to love, their dream came true on November 24, 2014 in the form of a precious little girl.  Thanksgiving has more meaning now than ever before as they will forever be grateful to Jessica and her family for this amazing gift.

Erin’s Surrogacy Story

Some say that the best things come in small packages.  But Erin decided to find out if the reverse was true….and of course it was!!  At 9lbs 12oz, just shy of 10lbs, this good-sized guy made his arrival on July 25, 2014.

Kimberly’s Surrogacy Story

Looking back, it hardly seems possible that almost 3 years passed in our efforts to complete this family.  The hurdles appeared in Kimberly’s path but she refused to let them stop her on the mission to help this family.  On May 31, 2014, Kimberly crossed the finish line bringing her Couple their second son weighing 9lbs.  Big brother was so happy to meet his baby bro!!

Jennifer’s Surrogacy Story

It has been said that time can affect the outcome of a situation, for the better or the worse.  In a twin pregnancy, the best situation is stay pregnant as long as possible.  Jennifer had a very complicated pregnancy, but she kept her spirits up even as she made the hospital her home.  But seeing the two healthy babies now, she knows that all of her efforts and sacrifices were worth it!!  Jennifer’s mission came to a successful end on May 5, 2014!

Racheal’s Surrogacy Story

One frozen embryo in San Jose, waiting for Racheal.  So much planning for this one little guy, but he was definitely worth it!!  After Racheal arranged for her daughters to attend her families’ reunion in another state that she has never missed, she went to San Jose for the embryo transfer.  Her family was super supportive of the reason she would not be attending this year.  So many positive vibes were sent to Racheal after the embryo transfer, it was impossible to not have success!  Then another trip to San Jose for the baby shower! Then finally on April 30, 2014, a beautiful baby boy was born weighing a perfect  8lbs 2oz.   And the last trip was to show off this cutie pie to Dr. Deb Wachs with Reproductive Science Center who originally brought us all together.

Trip to Spain June 2014

carol-spain-email-ad-summer-1-enCarol’s visit to Madrid in February was very successful!  However, there was not enough time to meet with all of the professionals and Couples who were interested in the Building Families Surrogacy Program.  So, Carol’s next trip in June will be twice as long!

“Spending more time in Spain means helping more Couples realize they can reach their goal of parenthood.  And the bonus is that I get to spend more time with the families we helped to build over the past two decades throughout Europe”, says Carol Weathers.

Visits to Madrid and Barcelona will be made between June 6 and 27, 2014.  Although Carol’s itinerary is not yet set, Carol is accepting inquiries via the online contact form for Intended Parents.

Carol Weathers is the director of Building Families, Inc,. a comprehensive Gestational Surrogacy Program based in Southern California. Building Families offers the highest level of personal attention to the Intended Parents and the Surrogate Mothers. If you are interested in a meeting, please click here to fill out our form.
