I attended the ASRM “A Legal Town Hall Cocktail Reception” last night. The reception was hosted by Good Start. Greg Porreca, PhD is the VP director of research & technology for Good Start – genetic diagnosis prior to conception. Also speaking were Susan Crockin, Attorney and Dr. Kim Thornton. Their mini-lecture was phenomenal. Thank you ASRM & Good Start for this informative talk. And the Beef Wellington was pretty good too!

There is a new “little” baby girl in the world! Although she is less than 2 months old, she already weighs 206lbs!! Don’t worry, the weight gain is appropriate as she is a baby elephant. Her name is Qinisa and you can see her by clicking on the link below. Congratulations to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park on their newest addition!!
Its transfer day for Shannon! Please wish her positive vibes!!
Being very large and pregnant right now, it’s a conversation starter each time I go to the store, or bank, or anywhere. It always starts the same way, “Oh! When are you due?” When I tell them my due date is the end of December, shock spreads across their face. The next comment is, “Wow, you are so… big!” I am not offended because well, I am rather large. I then say, “Yes I know, well… it’s twins.” Which is always responded with “Twins! Oh you are going to have your hands full!” Which in turn, I have to let them know, “Well.. they are not my babies, I am just the surrogate.”
