Priscilla’s Surrogacy Story
Typically unexpected delivery is not a word you would use when a woman is 9 months pregnant. But, in Priscilla’s case, it fits!! She made a drive to the hospital the night before only to be sent home with the notice of, “It’s a false alarm, honey.” Then only hours later, contractions came on with a vengeance. The pains were so strong and coming so quickly, she knew there was no way she would make it back to her hospital. She made the only decision she could, she went to the nearest hospital. And thank the Lord she did!!
Her mother drove like a woman possessed and made it to the ER at Anaheim Memorial where Priscilla delivered the baby in the car! And if that was not enough, the baby was born still in his amniotic sac. In the many hundreds of births we have had, never have either of these events happened! Reports state that a caul birth occurs in about 1 in every 80,000 births. It is also said that these babies are born with life-long good luck and have a natural affinity towards water. I can’t wait to find out!
Congratulations to Priscilla and her Couple. June 1, 2017 will be a day that many remember but for us it is when Priscilla brought a beautiful baby boy weighing a perfect 7lb 8oz into this world! And a special thanks to Priscilla for making the best decision for the safety of everyone involved. You rock!!
Nancy is Back!
Nancy had her visit with Dr. Frederick with HRC Fertility Orange County/San Diego and she is cleared to start Lupron!! Next stop, lining check!
Randi’s First OB Appointment!
Full house at Villarosa Daniel MD‘s office today when Randi invited her Couple to join her. Heartbeat was good and strong and they got a cute video of the baby girl too! Check out our Facebook page to watch!

Annie is Pregnant, with Twins!!

A Little Help from Some Old Friends
A little more than 18 years ago these twins were born! They came forward to speak in favor of surrogacy in their country where it is not legal. When asked about their feelings, Ignacio gave a profound answer of, “We wouldn’t be here if not for the generosity of a special woman.” And his brother Alvaro said, “It’s a cool thing!” This is indicative of their personalities, LOL!! Carol was beyond proud to have shared this day and this important time with them.

Carol’s Day at the Debate
It was amazing to hear how open the professionals and government officials are to surrogacy. Finally there is an understanding of the need for it to be available to everyone around the world. Of course, not everyone was supportive, but at least there are more in favor than opposed!!
