Jamie saw several of her friends become Surrogate Moms and was able to see first hand how amazing their experiences were. When she shared the stories with her hubby, they knew they wanted to get in on the fun! And join they did!! On August 25, 2018, she changed the lives of her Couple and their families when she gave birth to their son weighing a whopping 8lb 5oz.

Sometimes a new Surrogate Mom enters our Program and feels strongly about wanting to give the Couple their first child. But Monique felt that having a sibling for that first child is equally if not more important than the first. The second child is not only a gift for the parents and grandparents but he is a life long gift for his big brother or sister. The bond that forms between siblings is incredible and one day their children will be close and then their children…..It never ends! On August 23, 2018, Monique completed a family when a baby brother was born weighing a whopping 8 lb 2 oz.
A first for our group!! Dr. Rad joined in via video! Technology is truly a wonderful thing and we made the best out of our group time together. These girls are a blast no matter the situation and the support is as strong as ever. Should we have all made a funny face behind the laptop? #maybewedid 😉
Jamie is a couple of weeks away from her due date. The Intended Parents are here…all the way from Barcelona! They were able to attend Jamie’s appointment in person and meet the OB that will, very soon, be delivering their baby! Stay tuned!
Lauryn and Randi participated in Forever Footprints’ first-ever Perinatal Conference! Networking and gaining insight from healthcare professionals made for a great day! It is important to us at Building Families to always be aware of options for our couples and if we can represent them in any way possible, we will.
Surrogate Mom, Meghan, delivereda beautiful bundle of joy in the wee hours of Friday morning!! 20hrs later, Mom and Dad realized that between all of them, baby boy had been held non stop and joked that it was “Ok” to put him down. We wouldn’t want to let go of that sweetness either!
Surrogate Mom, Amanda, has graduated on to her OB! Dr. Yee and his staff at Reproductive Partners Medical Group will be missed! Big shout out to all the RPMG staff for their tremendous effort and continued support.
We are thrilled to announce that Surrogate Mom, Laura, is positively pregnant!! Her transfer at San Francisco’s Pacific Fertility Center was a success. She will now be monitored here in Southern California over the next few weeks until she enters the 2nd trimester.
