We met Melissa in the Spring of 2016. She delivered a beautiful baby girl for her Couple on November 22, 2018. She has won the award for perseverance!!! There were so many hurdles in the way, but Melissa overcame each one and was never dissuaded from her goal. If anything, she became more determined! Thank you, Melissa, for hanging in there. Your determination paid off and you have changed your Couple’s lives forever!
Surrogate Mom, Mandy, was the one who called and shared the great news with her couple. They’ve all been waiting so long to hear those words and you can imagine the emotions through the phone. She also took this creative photo to share her pregnancy test results. Her beta hCG was over 200, it more than doubled just two days later!! Her first ultrasound will be in two weeks!

Carol and Dr. Rad had a nice time reuniting with Fertility Specialists Medical Group in Carlsbad and meeting Dr. Kristi Maas. FSMG has been guiding patients along the path to parenthood for over 15 years. Dr. Maas joined their exceptional team of Doctors in 2016. She is Double Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The new location allows them to serve the entire San Diego community. The San Diego Metro office is located on the Sharp Memorial campus, while the North County office is located in the beautiful new Nextmed Center of Carlsbad.
Surrogate Mom, Monica, and her Intended Parents are going to the end of the world for each other, literally! Monica was flown to Brazil for her Embryo Transfer. Program Directo, Carol, was by her side each step of the way. Everything went so smooth and we are anticipating a positive pregnancy test at the end of the month! Her socks say it all!
How many times have you heard someone say how amazing technology is? And with the use of video conferencing apps, the Couple can share the appointments with their Surrogate Mothers. Now they can truly be a part of their baby’s progress firsthand. This is such a gift, especially for our international couples.
