What a year it has been for Building Families and the amazing Surrogate Mothers. As you can imagine, there have been many ups, downs, positives, and negatives and each one was made better by sharing every experience together. And not just between us and them, but with each other. We say it often but we have to repeat ourselves one last time…..this year…Our Surrogate Moms are one of a kind and the best in the world! It takes a special woman to embark on a journey so significant and we are so blessed to be surrounded by such beautiful souls all year long. It is Graduation Day! Mandy had a great experience at HRC Rancho Cucamonga. We are blessed to have had their amazing staff along the journey thus far. It is now time to say goodbye to the HRC ladies, as Mandy moves on to her OB. Such a milestone!
Surrogate Mom Jeri, and her Intended Parents, had their first ultrasound with Dr. Friedman at San Diego Fertility Center. I’m sure you can imagine the anticipation, so it seemed like forever before they were called back even though it was only a few minutes. Everyone is in the room, ultrasound machine is on, and then all of a sudden you hear the most glorious sound…the baby’s heartbeat! Smiles filled the room. Congratulations to Jeri and her couple. Let the journey begin!
