Surrogate Mom, Amanda, is 1 month away from delivery! She will be having a scheduled C-Section next month. She is looking fabulous, feeling fabulous and, well, IS fabulous! She also makes delicious cookies which we are ever so grateful for. We can’t wait to see you through this journey Amanda!

Hospital Tour…check! Whether it be to meet the staff, check out the nursery, or learn about the menu; we feel this is a great way to prepare the Intended Parents for what’s about to come! Most importantly, you want to know which entrance to use in the middle of the night since babies always seem to come in the wee hours. Not all hospitals offer a maternity tour but many do, and they typically offer them on a rotating schedule so be sure to call ahead and put this on your calendar.

Ya sea para conocer al personal, ver el vivero, o aprender sobre el menú; sentimos que esta es una gran manera de preparar a los padres previstos para lo que está a punto de llegar! Lo más importante, usted quiere saber qué entrada a utilizar en el medio de la noche, ya que los bebés siempre parecen venir en las primeras horas. No todos los hospitales ofrecen un tour de maternidad, pero muchos lo hacen, y por lo general les ofrecen en un horario de rotación, así que asegúrese de llamar con anticipación y poner esto en su calendario.
We try to make it to every appointment. Why? We feel support is key to a successful surrogate journey. But, honestly, we just love being there! The best part is catching up! We love our girls and create unique bonds with each one. Appointments are a great time to share updates about other surrogate moms and of course how the kiddos are doing! Sometimes we are lucky enough that 2 appointments will fall on the same day and we can get together for lunch in between! Another important area of support is the one that these amazing women provide to each other. Being able to relate to one another is very special as are the friendships we see develop along the way.

Amamos a nuestras chicas y creamos vínculos únicos con cada una. Las citas son un buen momento para compartir actualizaciones sobre otras madres subrogadas y, por supuesto, ¡cómo están los niños! ¡A veces tenemos la suerte de que 2 citas se celebren el mismo día y podemos reunirnos para el almuerzo entre las dos! Otra importante área de apoyo es la que estas maravillosas mujeres se brindan. Poder relacionarnos es muy especial, al igual que las amistades que vemos desarrollarse en el camino.
