BIRTH – Day celebrations at this month’s group meeting! We had 3 birth stories which means 3 desserts! Our amazing surrogates, Meghan, Jamie, and Monique have quite the sweet tooth. All 3 girls shared their super sweet birth stories to go with these amazing cakes.

Labor day was first celebrated on Tuesday, September 5th, 1882 in New York City. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws and well-being of the country. It is the Monday of the long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend and it is considered the unofficial end of summer in the United States.

Made with love, science, and a little help from Jamie!! What a miraculous combination! Surrogate Mom, Jamie, delivered a healthy baby boy, weighing in at 8lbs 5 oz! Her Intended Parents were right by her side and were beyond happy to meet their son. They have been waiting years for this moment and it is almost surreal that it has finally come. I don’t think they have stopped smiling since…even amidst the sleep deprivation! Congratulations to all!

¡Hecho con amor, ciencia y un poco de ayuda de Jamie! ¡Qué combinación tan milagrosa! ¡La mamá subrogada, Jamie, dio a luz un bebé saludable, con un peso de 3,719g! Sus futuros padres estaban a su lado y estaban felices de conocer a su hijo. Han esperado años para este momento y es casi surrealista que finalmente haya llegado. Congratulations are in order!! Surrogate Mom, Monique, delivered an adorable baby boy! He weighed over 8lbs and had a great set of lungs, which Carol learned quickly! Delivery day is so beautiful for everyone involved and Carol was so happy to have been there and witness this magical day.
